Safeguarding
At Buckingham Primary Nursery, the health, safety and well-being of every child are our paramount concern. We listen to and observe our children and take seriously what they tell us through their words and actions.
Our aim is for every child to enjoy their time at nursery and flourish, and we want to work in partnership with you to help them achieve their full potential and thrive.
To promote a safe environment for children, our selection and recruitment policy includes all checks on staff and regular volunteers’ suitability, including Disclosure and Barring Service checks, as recommended by Buckinghamshire County Council in accordance with current legislation.
Mrs Clare Milne takes the designated safeguarding lead role for EYFS and works closely with the wider school safeguarding team.
Mrs Gwen Brignall is the safeguarding and EYFS Governor.
